When I bought the 3m FosPower USB-C to Lightning cable, it was sold at a lower price. I compared several and saw so many horror stories that I stumbled upon this one. The reviews were relatively good and I took the plunge. I needed a reliable Lightning-enabled cable to take my Apple device and pair with the USB-C charger, which I ordered at the same time. It was reliable and my devices charged quickly. Good quality cable, thick/heavy. It should take quite a while. I had no problem recognizing it on my Apple device. Long length is a plus for travel.
