I needed a backup and future replacement for a coffee maker that makes one or two 14 ounce cups of coffee at a time and which admittedly spoils me for using mine can own coffee and make exactly the amount I need in minutes. I found a similar product but the reviews were mixed. Then I saw the AdirChef Grab N' Go personal coffee maker and I liked that it offered the same benefits as mine at a good price and could possibly travel. Well, it traveled with me in the car the same day I received it. It is very light as it is mostly made of plastic. I only use the mug that comes with the kit to make coffee or hot tea. I pour the drink into another mug to drink; habit of my current coffee machine. I also only use filtered or purchased spring water, not tap water, to reduce mineral buildup. Also, every time I make coffee, I use the number 2 paper filter in my filter basket because it's easier to clean and my filter basket doesn't get dirty. Grab N' Go makes coffee/tea quickly, within 1-3 minutes, and the temperature is drinkable hot, not very hot. I've been using Grab N' Go at least twice a day for 7 days in a row and haven't had any problems since I received it 8 days ago. I hope nothing happens! Grab N' Go has traveled well; I put it in a travel box and put the box in a reusable tote bag to take with me. The only thing I don't really like is that it's hard to know where to stop when you're filling the tank with water. A line or bulge inside would be helpful. You don't want to overfill because it will spill over the top of the cup. I also miss my 1-2 cup coffee maker's beep notifying me when the brewing process is complete. It's not a must, just a nice feature. All in all I am very satisfied and look forward to many cups of coffee and tea with Grab N' Go at home and on the go, especially since my 1-2 cup coffee maker is doing its best to die to me after almost 6 years of excellent service. I'm hoping Grab N' Go will "go into the gap" so to speak and keep me caffeinated.
