Oh don't worry. I wanted this product to please (because the price was so attractive) but functionally it sucks. Why? 1) Narrow base means it STAYS FURTHER UP when you keep it on the car base or on a table. A little vibration and it tips over on its side. 2) The lid is NOT airtight. Once it tips over, liquid will ooze out of the rims and spout when closed. Even if it is tightly capped, it will not seal well.3) It takes 25-30 MINUTES for the water to get HOT. (not boiling) but HOT to make tea. Look at the picture of the spout, it's a brittle piece of plastic that does nothing to stop liquid from spilling out. and another detail that was not in the photos, the base is NOT EQUAL. There is a slight crease at the bottom ensuring your mug won't spill and make a mess on your car floor.
