Bought for a friend who works as a truck driver and likes her coffee warm. I bought two mugs. She took one of them out into the street. She stays on the road for about a month. The first one she took only lasted a few days before it stopped working. When she returned to the street, she took a second cup. It only lasted a few days, not even a week. I would not recommend these heated mugs to anyone.

Why? 1) Narrow base means it STAYS FURTHER UP when you keep it on the car base or on a table. A little vibration and it tips over on its side. 2) The lid is NOT airtight.
