This product was purchased to heat up soups, coffee and other liquid foods. Ideal for keeping food and drinks warm. I don't drink coffee, I do drink it and I've never been able to drink very much hot coffee because it gets cold before I've finished it. With this product, one cup lasts me all day. I first bought this product with the intention of reheating soups. Unfortunately, it takes 2.5 to 3 hours to warm up a cup of soup or hot drinks. Since I believe that the manufacturer did not intend it to heat but to keep the contents warm, it serves its purpose well. It deserves five stars for keeping food and drinks warm. Update: It's been almost 2 months and the connection between the cup and plug has melted. It happened at the worst possible moment when it got colder. If I can't find one at the Pilot Truck Stop, I'll take a chance and consider buying another one. Hopefully this is a rare problem. Update 01/17/20: I later found out why the plug melted. I remember when I got home I washed the cup by dipping it in water. Although it has had plenty of time to dry, it is clear that there is still some moisture in the heating block. This shorted out the cup and when plugged in it melted. Mfr clearly says "Do not immerse in water" but I have not read it. The product deserves 5 stars. 03/14/20: My second expired. Everything worked great that morning, but when I bought myself a hot cappuccino, I later went for a sip and it was cold. I still believe this is a good product. I don't think I'll do better with a competitor so I order another and if it doesn't last the stars disappear.
