Great looking welds on mild steel.
I love this rod for farm use. There are no special storage requirements like 7018. The bead looks very beautiful if you keep a smooth movement. This is my favorite stick for flat welding mild steel parts. For anything high in carbon, I use a Hobart or Lincoln 7018. I toast them a bit in my shop's toaster first just to make sure they're dry.
