I use them for my SUP board to launch and retrieve my board from the lake. I wear them until I'm on the water and then take them off while I paddle until I'm ready to come back. They are easy to put on and take off so I can do this on the water too. They are very comfortable and feel like my foot is being hugged. They are snug enough on the foot and feel like a sock with a sole. They dry quickly and keep most of the sand/dirt out. I ordered the size I usually wear in shoes and they fit well. I highly recommend these water shoes.
