Decent quality, nice bonuses, only one problem.

WHY I CHOOSE THIS CASE OVER MORE EXPENSIVE MODELS FRONT: This is good value for money. I recently bought a new MacBook Pro. There were already a few marks on the aluminum so I wanted to do something to protect my investment. I came to Amazon looking for a cheap case that would get the job done. I ended up spending a few hours researching it. From what I've seen on YouTube and Revain, all of these Chinese cases are pretty much the same. I used to have a 2009 MBP. I paid for an expensive case from Speck. While it did an excellent job of protecting my computer, it discolored with age and didn't seem to have anything special other than a household name worth the extra $40. It was harder and thicker plastic, but I felt the laptop wasn't cooling as well as it could. This is just my opinion and I have not run any tests to verify this. THE GOOD: I decided to take a risk by going with the Mosiso brand (again, all cases in this price range seem to be made in the same factory with the same materials). he looks great I particularly like the look of the illuminated logo through the black. I received the case in "black" instead of jet black or translucent black. The material feels comfortable and is slightly translucent. I would estimate around 80% opacity. It is very similar to the standard photo, the black has a tint almost closer to the very dark personal grey. I would still call it "black", but it's a little less dark than it looks on my screen. It fits snugly and I had no trouble installing the case. It slid into place with little to no effort. I wasn't interested in the included screen and keyboard protectors. I put the keyboard overlay on briefly and was surprised that it had a nice tactile response. I assumed that the key response would be drastically dampened, but that's not the case. The feeling was very close to the present. I'm very careful with my stuff, so I decided to put it aside. I thought readers might want to know that it's perfect for the buttons. It was firm and clean without my fingers moving to hit the keys. NOT SO GOOD: Clip design is an issue. I still think it's a good price but I wish I knew my wrists would be irritated by the clips that attach the case to the car. Long writing sessions can be quite annoying. The piece of hard plastic sticks out a millimeter or two above the top edge of the laptop and digs into your wrist at any normal typing angle. If you're a pro who types a lot, be sure to choose a different case to avoid this hassle. I've included a few photos to show clip projection and color in normal lighting. I used the flash on my phone to highlight the translucency.
