Bought these because of the thick full coverage rubber on the toes as my son constantly wears his thumbs on his shoes when driving plasma cars in the school. This is our second pair. Lasts longer than rubber on Keen shoes. There's a certain angle with the plasma car that just rips through his boots. The shoes have nothing to do with it - they are of high quality. Just like my son uses them.
