If you are looking for a way to connect an old PSU with a 4-pin CPU power connector to a motherboard with an 8-pin (some call it a 4x2 connector) CPU power connector than to get this adapter! I'm using an AMD Ryzen 5 3600 processor on a Gigabyte AORUS B450 M motherboard and it works great. DO NOT FORGET to connect a Molex cable to NOTHING else to get stable voltage and current to your processor. Some Molex cables have 2 or 3 connectors connected in series for their entire length. So make sure you don't connect anything else to these connectors to get the best performance out of your processor.
