Review on Optimize Bike Performance with Finish Line Ceramic Wet Bicycle Chain Lube by Hesham Peltier

I have been cycling for many years and have tried many different lubes. This is definitely my favourite. It is easy to apply and once dry forms a sticky film that lasts a very long time. I think it does pick up some dirt and dust but to be honest I've never had a lube that didn't. When an oily wet lubricant is wet enough to work, it is wet enough to pick up dirt. Dry lubricants just leave a waxy mess on everything and never smear well enough. This slightly tacky lube feels less messy than an oily wet lube or a messy dry lube, but lasts much longer. I can actually rub the sideplates and outer surfaces of the chain multiple times while the inner surfaces still feel sticky and well lubricated. It should be noted that this lubricant needs to dry to be optimal. I try to put it on and then leave it on for a while before the trip. After the carrier liquid has evaporated, I lightly wipe the excess off the chain. If I need to apply it right before a ride, I just wipe off the excess after I'm done riding. This is pretty obvious when the lube is dry as it turns from a watery film to a sticky one. By removing excess grease, it helps minimize dirt build-up while still providing very good, very long lasting lubrication. I've tried many lubes. This Finish Line Ceramic really stood out for its excellence and is the only thing I buy more.
