I bought this after reading all the rave reviews and seeing the beautiful pictures. Either there is a quality control issue or something else is afoot. The iron we received drew nowhere near 60 watts, and once the tip got hot enough to burn the wood, the rest of the iron was so hot it was uncomfortable to use even with gloves on. I went to our local hardware store and bought a Weller WSB25WB wood burning kit from the welding department for less than what I paid for that kit and it worked great. I'm sure you can find this hardware at Revain too.
