I'm really impressed with how well this thing works. Judging by the photo, this is some kind of thin piece of plastic. While flexible, it's not flimsy or cheap (quality wise). There is only a small gap between my tire and the fork, but surprisingly the straps do the job and keep the tire from bumping into my tire! I've experienced big bumps, heavy rain/water, mud, etc. It seems to stay no matter what. You have to tighten the straps as tight as you can, but I expected that before I bought this thing. Either way, this is a great wing!
