After the installation fixed my problem and does its job perfectly. It's not plug and play, you have to convert some of the wiring (not hard, just extra work). Also, in my particular case (a 2007 Hummer H2), the mounting holes did NOT line up as advertised. I lay on my back with my legs out of the passenger door (NOT comfortable!), looked at where I needed to re-drill, went to the workbench and re-drilled the mounting holes. Apparently this was done to keep the heating going so the weather didn't help with this particular repair. Was PITA worth it? Me. Saving $70 cost me a few minutes of swearing and taking a hot bath to warm up and rejuvenate my muscles. With the extra money I managed to buy some cool LED lights!
