This is one of those "I wish I had this on me" devices. The production is above average. The coaxial cable is marked, but too small for my old eyes. The antenna consists of two rubber duckies installed in the form of a dipole. Undoubtedly, it has severe reception losses, but with relatively powerful transmitters for local police and fire stations, or a local repeater, this is sufficient for most scanners. This is not a DX antenna. This is a simple, fast surveillance antenna that you can attach to your bookshelf and hear local signals. If that's what you're looking for, this is a great answer. It's small enough to be hidden almost anywhere, e.g. B. behind a bookshelf or a car window, and is easily polarized vertically or horizontally. I'll add a few of them to the cabin for local surveillance.
