I like this gate because it's strong, good finish quality, brackets are easy and not in the way. To earn that extra two stars, the installation template had to rearrange the latches because the door didn't sit quite right - it had to be lifted too high to fit the latches and the hinges fell out of the hinge brackets. I would love to move it again, but I don't want 6 holes in the wall. It can be operated with one hand, although ours have yet to find ways to get out of the latch, so the hinges sometimes extend with one hand. The two-handed operation provides a smoother opening and saves me the trouble of chasing the hinge spring all over the floor and reinstalling the hinge brackets. It would have been 4 stars if I had measured twice instead of just following the template provided. I would still recommend this gate! I bought another, wider version for our other room.
