My Toyota will soon be 20 years old and is so reliable that I drive it into the ground. I've kept it on the road for nearly 300,000 miles, and while it's worth fixing (for me), it's not worth the serious money put into it. When the driver's door lock actuator stopped working, I found this. Good reviews, less than $20. I figured I could install it and if after six months it doesn't work anymore I'll redo the original and plug it back in. Well it's been over 9 months and the original is still on the shelf. I'll redo it if needed, but for now this actuator works just like the OEM. I won't hold my breath for another 20 years, but so far it looks like it'll last longer than its $16 price tag suggests. It was cheap, a perfect fit, no modifications, works and got me out of my predicament. What more can I ask for?
