The old ones on my 2005 Grand Cherokee are tired. The window didn't open at all. After replacement, the glass takes off like a rocket! It would be ideal to just replace one, but I love how quick it is now. I actually found the installation easy, you just need to use a small to medium flathead screwdriver to remove the spring tabs and they slide right over the ball joint. Then simply slide the spring tab into place.
