I liked the professional and sleek style so it looked good on a side table in the corner of our living room. Our family consists of technical specialists. Whenever someone gets a new laptop, we wipe the old one and put a Linux distribution on it. Our coffee table was constantly crammed with about a dozen laptops that we have for the three of us. I searched the shelves, carts, file organizers. I chose this one and it's the right choice for us because it has a small footprint, can hold up to 5 regular/thin 15.6 laptops, and is stable enough not to tip over. I can get a second one to put next to another sofa.
