Review on MAXXIS Bravo AT-771 215/65 R16 98T summer by Michal Wasowicz

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A great option for this money, I definitely recommend it!

Excellent tires for driving in the city as well as on hunting expeditions and for modest off-road use. I gave it a lot of thought before deciding whether or not to get AT because there were a lot of reports that contradicted each other. Since I drove Dunlop ST30 tires during the summer, I ultimately chose to switch to Maxxis 771. I will explain how I am feeling by saying: Even if it was traveling at 70 kilometers per hour on the side of the road and dropped in, nothing changes. The car did not become a roll, it simply became softer. Bumps and potholes in the asphalt virtually disappeared. It had very little impact on the vehicle's handling, but if you are going into a quick curve and letting off the gas, the front wheel that is not carrying any weight would slip. Puddles are going fine. Although splashes will spray onto the windshield if you fly into a deep puddle, it will stand confidently on a wet road and there will be no demolitions. The volume of the noise has not grown, and there is no longer any howling or humming. It is not yet possible to determine consumption. Off-road, which is a significant plus for cross-country capability, I drove to those places where I didn't even thought to poke my head on the ST30 without experiencing any drama and in a peaceful state. In my opinion, it would work wonderfully on our roadways. It is true that it does not make any sense for people who live in the middle of Hong Kong and move within three modes of transport without making any excursions off-road. The aesthetic is a great benefit, and despite the fact that I believe the white inscriptions will become unreadable very shortly, I plan to colour them because I truly like them. It is not quite evident what size they are, but I believe they are larger than necessary. I purchased 235/65/r17 tires, but at first I wanted 245/65/r17 tires. Regular 245 tires fit in the space, and many owners consider them equivalent. However, the Maxxis 235e is nearly the same size as the predicted 245, and the distance from the fender liner to the tire is 11 millimeters. I believe that the Maxxis 245e would just rest against a minor eversion.

Pros
  • Excellent tires, make sure you read the review.
Cons
  • There is no information on precise measurements, accurate to the millimeter, to determine whether or not the tire will fit into the arch.

Pros: Appearance, protector, relatively inexpensive. Some cons: Somewhat noisy, but that's because of the tread.
