There are several aftermarket replacement toner cartridges out there, but most of them have received mixed reviews. So if you need something that works properly, spend your money and buy the right products. Pros: I have a first but didn't expect such fast delivery - the package was supposed to arrive on Sunday but it was there on Sunday morning just after I had finished making coffee. Also - I didn't expect (I must have missed the details) the return label for each used cartridge - all I have to do is take it to my local UPS store now. It was a nice touch.
