This was my first try at gel AND first nail color in ages! I followed the simple instructions, making sure to paint over each layer in a thin coat. I only applied one coat of paint - will see how it holds up and will two coats be better next time? However, I found that it was less intense when I chose the lowest curing time (30s) instead of 69s. It's strange that lower times will be less intense. If this happens to you while drying the matte top coat, use the shortest setting (30 seconds) twice. Blowing lightly on your hand while it is curing also helps. I've read that matte surfaces dry faster, so this can help heat them up.
