My Silverado 2001 brakes didn't stop the truck well. These pads have greatly increased braking performance, so I'm very happy with that aspect. in a coating to clean the rotors upon initial installation. The only reason they got 4 stars is because they generate a lot of brake dust. I expected this when they were new and broken, but they keep fouling the wheels. However, I would buy it again as braking performance is more important to me than the brake dust on my wheels. If you want your wheels to always shine, look elsewhere.
