They really work on spares

They produce more dust but really improve braking performance. Put 'em on the front and green on the back of the truck and they've never stopped better, plus slotted and perforated rotors.

Good product. in the brake system

These brakes are great! HOWEVER, they will not fit the 2002 Chevrolet Silverado LT/LS 4WD as advertised. I'm 100% sure they won't fit in your car, although it clearly says they will.

Great brake pads: Braking system

Excellent brake pads, increased stopping power over stock brakes on my Silverado is enough to notice, especially when towing one of my trailers. Better cooling and heating performance than previous Hawk LTS pads. BUT, they dust worse than most pads I've used, including Falcons. The compromise is worth the dust, though.

My Silverado 2001 brakes didn't stop the truck well. These pads have greatly increased braking performance, so I'm very happy with that aspect. in a coating to clean the rotors upon initial installation. The only reason they got 4 stars is because they generate a lot of brake dust. I expected this when they were new and broken, but they keep fouling the wheels. However, I would buy it again as braking performance is more important to me than the brake dust on my wheels. If you want your wheels…

I installed these pads on my 2001 GMC Sierra 1500 4X4. I'm the first owner of the truck, I drive it almost every day. The shoe pads are ceramic and seem to last forever, but they don't stop the truck at all. I was looking to upgrade to a hydraulic brake booster to get more stopping power, but I'm glad I was the first to buy these new brake pads. I immediately noticed the difference to the standard pads.
