So the first impression of this tablet was amazing. I received it yesterday and was incredibly excited to try it out. Pros: - The tablet is a very good size and the picture/sound quality is very good. - The case is made of very nice and durable material. I have no doubt that my tablet is very well protected if I drop it. The speed is also very good, I have no problem downloading games, playing games or watching videos. The stylus is very comfortable to hold and easy to use. The pen holder on the body is very good and I never worry about it slipping off. Bad: - Battery life. Oh my god, battery life. One of the main reasons I chose this tablet was the supposed 12-hour battery. Well, I wasn't expecting the full 12 hours, especially if I'm using it to stream shows all day, but I'm expecting more than the 2 hours I'm getting. The battery hit 86% and after I finished setup and just added a few apps it dropped to 75%. It didn't bother me initially because I thought it had been on for a while so I didn't give it too much thought. I drained the battery, turned it off and charged it. When I turned it back on, I was very disappointed to find that the battery was still draining incredibly quickly. You'd be lucky if you could use it for two hours with minimal use. So if I stream all day while working from home, I only have about two hours before I need to plug in my charger. I'm very disappointed with this, but the rest of the tablet is so good that I'm willing to be tethered to a cable while using it. Another disappointing thing is the keyboard. It doesn't light up (not a problem, just personal preference), but when I put the tablet into tablet mode, since I don't want to use the keyboard anymore, everything that's pressed on the keys is still registered on the tablet . I think it would be much better to have an on/off option on the keyboard so I don't have to worry about the keys still being pressed when I turn them back when I'm done with them. Every time I move the table, a button is pressed. And while I really LOVE the case and keyboard, it's such a big problem that I had to order a new case to use the keyboard with the on/off option. I've tried all the available settings and can't find anywhere to disable the keyboard when it's folded back. Overall I am satisfied with this purchase. Apart from the battery life, the tablet is really amazing. It's a lot faster than my Samsung tablet and I love that it has 4GB of RAM. I subtracted 2 stars for the battery and keyboard, which don't have a shutdown option, but I'd happily give 5 stars if those issues were fixed.
