My son slipped in it while walking so the grip is poor. Also, it's a little tight to put on, but kids can grow up so fast, I don't know if it's because of the shoes or the baby. We took them to the water park and they did a great job of protecting our feet without getting hot and they dry quickly after being submerged in water. It's only been a few months and they seem to be holding up well, but we only use them once a week or so.
