I like the thin, streamlined profile of this light. It's chic, modern and great for my minimalist tastes. This light is so bright I may need to add a dimmer! I never had enough light in my guest bathroom and for the first time this room is radiating HAPPY! I noticed one thing. I hear a hiss or hiss when the light is on. Haven't used it since and will wait till I can see it. We really needed a taller ladder during installation so we hoped it was a simple adjustment to the connection. I love this lighting so much that I cannot rate it below five stars despite this observation. Required/recommended drilling directions (I think). This was not necessary with my existing hardware. And no. Didn't install it myself.
