High quality wire at a reasonable price.
This is a high quality 16 AWG zip cable at a very affordable price. The conductor is actually copper, not copper clad aluminum or steel, so it's very flexible and easy to solder. High quality insulation; It is resistant to hydrocarbons (gasoline, oil, etc.) and is rated for temperatures up to 176F (80C), making it suitable for use in most automotive engine compartments as long as it is within inches of the cylinder block , exhaust manifold and other high temperature parts. The conductors are individually insulated (one red, one black) and separate easily and cleanly. I have used this wire to make power cords for ham radios and install lights and equipment on vehicles and it has worked very well.
