I was expecting a regular plastic PC fan, but it's actually a tank in a die-cast metal case. However, the cable is a bit stiff, and using the fan on a slippery, hard surface can cause the cable to drag the fan. This can be fixed with the rubber feet on the underside of the fan. The rest works great, there is nothing to complain about in terms of functionality.
