Review on πŸ’¨ Efficient LyonsBlue Desoldering Vacuum for Easy Solder Removal by Cameron Reed

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Back to slightly less complex braids for me.

Still a problem. Very cheap, poor metalwork/cleaning. Sharp edges make it difficult to "load" the weapon. "Good for end-to-end connections." GENERALLY not true. the tip has an outer diameter of 4 mm and an inner diameter of 2 mm. If you have 0.1 inch mesh pins, they will not fit around a pin. "Rotate to remove tip." Cannot rotate. Even with pliers. The instructions show an arrow around the tip/taper area, but none of the three elements rotate there. Pretty sure it's stuck due to poor handling of clogged connections. The tip melts after the 20th attempt to suck the last bit out of the pinhole. >.> +1 star because it removes the first 70% of the solder faster than copper braids. But the last drop of solder just won't budge. So what should I do? Use a braid for the last 30% and by the time you start braiding it will almost always be at 100%. It is only difficult to melt solder with an air gap braid during transportation.
