I 💕! Tbh I use these for curling rather than straightening because my hair is already straight and I LOVE the versatility you get with this product. The slower you pull out the strand of hair, the tighter the curls will be. At first I only set it to 400 so my daughter's hair would be hard to curl (well, curly hair is hard to hold - it will be bouncy at first and then fall out within an hour). a slight difference in the shine and smoothness of the hair under the iron. Surprisingly, even though she moves through her hair quite quickly and is NOT making "tight" curls after playing all day and sleeping last night, the soft waves are still in place, albeit a little looser than yesterday. I've tried it on myself (treated, longer and ultra straight) and got similar results. The main difference was that I had to crank it up to 425. My hair didn't flow as well as hers, but I also bleached it just a few days ago and it hasn't gotten enough repair masks yet! The tempo control is unlike any I've used and it's very easy to set the temperature that works best for your hair type. I'm obsessed with the locking feature, especially when there are small kids around who like to grab onto things they shouldn't (it's hard to get burned when it's locked!). The heating elements are recessed enough that you can grab the tip of the iron by pulling it down/twirling your hair and it won't burn your fingertips✌️ I also LOVE the brush that comes with it. It's very gentle and is similar to my favorite DryBar which I use almost exclusively 😊 I was surprised because I received different irons, clips, a thermal pad or a travel mount (the only reason I took off a star is because it one trip was missing The box is small enough to pack but would definitely add unnecessary bulk!) The only thing I would have liked would have been if the cymbals were a bit longer. We all have LOTS of hair and it's hard to stay on top of the records when it comes to curling.
