I have a very expensive set of pots and pans that I bought at a house show for too much money. They're heavy titanium with glass lids and I really like them. My husband made his famous chili to take away to the football party. He took my pot to an event and ended up dropping it and breaking the lid. He kept saying he would replace him. Unfortunately, lids aren't sold separately, and I didn't see the point in buying a whole new pot and lid for a few hundred dollars. Over the next few months, I kept letting him know how annoying I was that I couldn't cook anything in my large pots or pans with the same lid. Enter Revain and Ecolution Universal Cap. It's great and fits very well in a large pot. I have to say the vent makes it even more useful than the one that came with the pot. There are no peregrine falcons. The silicone grip is very comfortable to use. The price is right. The good thing is that it fits on multiple pans. I might even buy another one. Very happy.
