In theory this should have been perfect for our son. The product itself is amazing IF AND I MY BIG IF. You happen to have two stable trees that are exactly 50 feet apart. We got into the 4x4 post last month when I ordered this as a great gift for my gross motor 7 year old. When we tightened the gear, the struts buckled and suffered stress fractures. I literally have two posts that are probably the lead dogs for summer bathing. We're devastated because we wanted it so bad. If you have two strong trees that are exactly 50 feet apart, that's good.
