Review on 🔋 POWEROWL 4 Bay Battery Charger: USB Quick Charging for C, D, AA, AAA - Ni-MH Ni-CD Rechargeable Batteries by Joe Daniels

D charger and I needed it for other C-NiMH -Rechargeable batteries I got so this was a great addition to my rechargeable battery collection. First off, the charger is a bit disappointing. As NiMH batteries are used and abused, they sometimes have to go through multiple full discharge and charge cycles (even at different charge rates and voltages I think) to regain their original performance. The full charger works, but there is no discharge and correction mode. As long as I drain these batteries carefully with use, performance won't suffer much, but I'll probably replace this DC charger anyway. For $43 I was hoping for a better charger. but it works for the base load. The batteries themselves have excellent output pulses of over 14 amps. My multimeter wasn't supposed to run that high, so I couldn't keep watching how long the batteries would last before it started to get hot. However, for most applications, amplifiers are more than adequate. I don't have the ability to easily check the 10,000mAh rating. D batteries are dying out so these rechargeable batteries may or may not be my last. However, due to the charger's lack of functionality, I'm hesitant to recommend it at this price point if you're going to be doing hundreds of charges with it.
