I've been using it for a few months and I use it every day. Works perfectly, the sound from the speaker is ok. I plug it into a specific outlet instead of using a charger, then move the main unit to where I need it. It stays close to where I sit and watch TV. I love that I can access and disable ads faster than with a TV remote. So I can't tell you how long it takes to charge. I bought it mainly because I'm hard of hearing and tired of turning off the TV. Charger and then a table next to which I sit and watch TV. My wife is now asking me to turn it up instead of telling me to turn down the TV. Hooray! When I switch to a Netflix movie, it doesn't work. No sound from speaker. I need to use the TV remote and TV speaker to watch Netflix or Revain movies.
