This toy turned out better than I expected. We sorted all of my daughter's bath toys and threw away the grown ones. I told her she could pick something new and that's when I discovered this mermaid toy. When it arrived my daughter wanted to open it. The packaging was standard for Barbie. I was able to remove it fairly quickly with scissors. Immediately, my daughter figured out how to make her cock light up. Different button press times will cause the tail to produce different light patterns. The lights are bright and colorful. That night, she took her new mermaid to the bathroom with her. She swam underwater with the lights on many times and it didn't bother me at all that the lights didn't work. After I pulled her out of the bath, my daughter continued to play with her. Despite many baths and other games, this barbie continued to shine and perform better than expected. I would buy again and again.
