Much better than the factory junk

I bought these while trying to fix home made doors on my 2000 F-150 King Cab. Simply put, they worked great. What You Get: Multiple machined slotted tips. 3 are for cable ends accessible from the main door, 1 has an elongated end used specifically for the top latch. A few pointers: 1: Replace all ends once you open the panels 2: Remove the top panel first. It just pops out but be careful with the sliding windows - 2 bolts per side3: Remove the 2 bolts and 11mm nut holding the lower fairing; Lift and release 4: Remove the speaker if present. I had head screws 6 mm5: take a photo of the assembly plan. Just do it. 6: Squeeze the tiny "tabs" on the plastic tabs that loosely hold the threaded ends of the cable. 7: Lift the latch to release the small yellow tab. They're not as brittle as they seem8: Use a knife, sandpaper, or file (which is what I used) to smooth the grommet. They are textured and need to be cleaned beforehand to remove the burrs 9: Put on the machine's replaceable aluminum tips. The long, thin part shows FROM the end of the cable. It could be a touch. if so, some silicone grease (diver's grease) or some dielectric grease will make it easier to slide over the cable gland10: put the holder back on and reattach it to the door. Be sure to check the panels before reinstalling them. Mine required some adjustments; This is done by taking up the play of the latch - note that the ends of the cable are threaded. Don't use a tiny wrench to make adjustments - just remove the bracket, move it a few turns closer to the end to eliminate play, then tighten. Check this by tightening the fasteners - it's much easier to adjust the door and test with the door open and ajar. After making sure everything is in order, reassemble and you're done - and save yourself a bunch of ducats!
