I truly wanted to LOVE these, but alas, i cannot; though i love certain aspects of them.Pros;1. I love all the different settings.2. all the individual lights on both strands i bought work.3. i love the idea of these.but.Cons;1. the spacing of both the falling strands themselves and the individual bulbs on each strand is MUCH TOO far apart and the only way these would ever look like the photos is to overlap at least 2 or more sets to create the appearance of them having much more lights that are closer together. In reality, the falling strands are nearly a foot apart instead of a mere 3-6 inches that they appear to be in photos and the individual lights are roughly 5 inches apart instead of the 2-3 inches they appear in photos. Point being these look VERY sparse instead of voluptuous!2. the remote only works IF you can have a direct line of UNBLOCKED sight to the actual wall plug, so if they are plugged in behind anything or there is any furniture even several feet in front of the plug, you must maneuver past all obstacles to get remote to function.All in all, these are acceptable; though i am curious to see how long they will work and will update my review accordingly.What would be truly magnificent and preferable is for these light sets to look in real life as they do in photos with far more lights closer together (both vertically and horizontally!).
