I bought this in the summer, so the three bars were melted together when they arrived. I moved them to one of my Lush tins, which works great. Due to the melting, it is a little grainy, but the grains do dissolve. I put a small amount in my hand and warm it until it melts before applying. The smell is quite neutral. It works like an oil, which is great for dry skin, though it's a little greasy, so someone with different skin might have an issue with it. I wouldn't use it during the day, but it's a good night cream. As others have said, a little goes a long way, and I anticipate these will last a very long time even though they may appear small at first.
