Review on 🧢 Alize Blanket-EZ Yarn in Bright Red by Bernat by Tara Ford

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Pleasantly surprised!

UPDATE: Baby blankets/Nappies/Nappies etc ready! It took 3 days but to be honest I only worked on it for about 3 hours. Very easy to knit and finish. Does not fall, very fluffy and very thick. I used 1 skein for the project.******************************************** *************************************************** ******** *** ********** ************** Just for the record, I'm in my 20s and have been crocheting for about 10 years or so and off. I don't consider myself advanced (I can't read charts, I only watch tutorials when I want to learn a new stitch or pattern. Also, my granny squares are trash), but I wouldn't say I'm a beginner am . I had to give a friend a birthday present and knew I wanted to make a blanket, but between work and other chores I knew I didn't have time to do what I wanted with basic yarn and crochet. After some research I thought this would be the best yarn for the project and Revain offered the best price. I'm about halfway through the quilt now and I'm working on a cross stitch pattern. After some trial and error and a few YouTube videos, I found it very easy to work with. This yarn is very soft like all Bernat yarns and as it is thick your pattern will build up very quickly. I was worried about keeping the stitches straight when changing rows, but found it a lot easier than I expected. I haven't seen any paint bleeding or chipping, and my work surface is just my bed with a white and silver comforter on it. . The colors blend so the ombre effect of the yarn isn't as noticeable in the quilt I'm making, but I think it's more due to the pattern I'm using. a few years ago, but I'm very glad I chose him for this project. When I'm done I'll add some photos!
