If you're looking for a muffler that's a little louder than stock without producing that awful rumble then this muffler is worth buying. I installed this on my 2011 Nissan Xterra 4.0 v6. I had the muffler shop get rid of the dreaded stock Y-pipe and make 2 new 2.25mm link pipes to the two 2.25mm inlets on the Magnaflow (muffler bi-directional). It definitely improved acceleration. It sounds amazing on a cold start, but dies down to a low hum after warming up. It's almost quiet on the freeway with little acceleration. With moderate and aggressive acceleration, it really comes to life! On the highway at a speed of 65-75 km / h it is almost inaudible. In comparison, I had a Flowmaster Super 44 and that muffler was rubbish. The drone was unbearable at all speeds. The outside sound was amazing but the drone made me hate driving my SUV. The purchase of this Magnaflow silencer was definitely worth it!
