I really like this thing. I bought it last week and it arrived very quickly. The hot dogs he makes are really great. I will never cook a hot dog again. I've pan fried them for a while but this is so much better. Although the product is not perfect. The timer dial has a notch to show its position, but you can't see it in less than bright light because it's just a notch. It's also not too noticeable to the touch. If it were painted white or had a bulge instead of a notch, it would be easier to use. Also, the numbers are too small. After all, I'm looking at it from 2 inches away to read it. Also, the dial is too difficult to turn. I understand it's spring loaded, but I can spin the dryer and washer much easier than this thing. Maybe make the dial bigger if you want to keep the same tension across it. Finally, it's not entirely clear that the dial turns on the heater while the switch turns on the roller. I tested it with just the dial and the heat indicator didn't light up when I looked at it. When the heating is on, the light should come on, right? When does the heat lamp come on? It works out. I returned to the boil 15 minutes later and saw the light.
