Review on LG 38GL950G B Ultragear Monitor: 3840X1600P, 144Hz 🖥️ Refresh Rate, Height Adjustment, Wall Mountable, Anti-Glare Coating, IPS by Antonio Wainwright

I've been thinking about an ultrawide monitor for a while but wasn't sure if I needed an ultrawide monitor as I used to use a 32 inch LED TV which I felt was big enough. I looked at the reviews in general and decided I would try the 38" Ultra Wide, the 49" just seemed too wide to me so I went with this one (LG 38GL950G-B 38" Ultra Wide) I use it with the following setup: Mainboard: ASUS ROG Crosshair VIII Dark Hero CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X GPU: AORUS GeForce® GTX 1080 Ti Xtreme Edition 11G (2017) All the games I own run fast and smooth on it likes it. Note: for some reason you can't enter the bios when using a display port cable, it doesn't show anything until it enters windows. Luckily, if you use an HDMI cable instead, you can get into that Enter BIOS Return to display port when finished with BIOS as you will miss some features if using HDMI ***Update I found the issue with the BIOS was that my Nvidia - Graphics card needed a firmware update f Find this by searching for "nvidia display port update". Note. After the update I can't see the BIOS when using the HDMI cable, but that's ok as I only want to use the displayport *** In order for my games to use the entire monitor, I changed the settings in Nvida Geforce Experience. To do this, locate your game, click the Details button, then click the wrench and set the resolution to 3840x1600, click Apply. I just mentioned this because some games don't show the resolution in their settings, but they work with the settings I described. The stand is solid and I tried to capture in the photo that you can actually slide paper freely under the stand. due to the fact that the stand had rubber feet, which is useful if you want a keyboard cheat sheet on your desk and want to have the monitor up close while gaming.
