The product is not acrylic but plastic and the ends of the cubes were so sharp that they sometimes pierced the sandpaper I used! I use this product because I need it today but I would not get it again. Is always. If so, put the sandpaper in your shopping cart because that almost hurt me a few times too. At least it looks like the picture and will do my shrimp good. The only reason it's 3 stars and not 2 (at best) is because it looks like the picture and still works. Otherwise, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere.
