It would help if the shaft adapter actually fitted onto the shaft.

The motor itself seems to be fine - it works very quietly. HOWEVER, the shaft adapter does not fit the shaft. Adapter 7/64, shaft 5/16. I have a drill press and have drilled it, but the main reason I bought it was because it came with a shaft adapter and motor mount. In addition, the adapter is made of brass, so the set screws break at the slightest torque.
