While a well made little stapler it is not a heavy duty tool. I ordered this for the occasional re-fixing of our stairs so we didn't have to pull out the Bostitch Air Nail Gun/Stapler and Air Compressor. This kid is doing his job! It is very convenient to use: staples and nails are inserted immediately, and the butt is neatly placed behind them. Right out of the box I thought I was going to have trouble pressing the gun, but when I actually used it on the slide it was very easy to unclamp (and with full force too). It comes with instructions, but if you've ever downloaded a regular desktop stapler, you probably won't even need it. The size of the gun and attachments limits the type of project this stapler is useful for. . Upholstery, lightly tacking rugs (like my staircase), securing wires (with U-staples), and attaching fine trim are ideal uses for this little gun. The caps are regular size and can be easily replaced when 500 of each type have been used. The staple remover is really reliable and easy to use. The set comes in a nice plastic case with two clasps and a handle so you don't lose small parts and it's easy to take it to the right place. This is a simple but well-made stapler that should be able to handle just about any medium, simple task that requires these types of staples. The adjustable handle releases fasteners with a force equal to the thickness they penetrate. The handle mechanism is surprisingly responsive and comfortable to hold, and overall it's really easy to use. For the price you can't go wrong.
