The scroll wheel is plastic, the colors are slightly different from those shown in the photo, otherwise a solid mouse confuses

I'm buying a Corsair M65 Pro mouse to replace. I like the M65 but the mouse started to double click and I had trouble with the middle click which eventually stopped working. The M65 has a wider bezel while the G502 has a much thinner one. In general, I prefer a wider frame. Pros: * Logitech mice tend to last a long time - good button mapping and customizability in drivers/software * feels good in the hand (good thumb rest) and has nicely textured grips on the side. * Scroll wheel can be toggled between free scrolling and single clicks * Good quality sensor (I'm not picky) * Mouse cable is good length and width Cons: * Colors are different than pictured - scroll wheel looks like gray spray paint, lines are special edition in painted in a very light plastic white. * The scroll wheel is plastic and looks cheap (but looks like a good Logitech mouse). * No buttons on pinky/ring finger. The G7/G8/G9 keys are also a bit awkward to reach. Notes: * Wireless version available. * G Hub has a cool Sound Visualizer mode, but there's not much light on the mouse, and the colors and settings don't "impress" me. Funny trick. * There is a button to change the sensitivity, which can be set at will. By default it is set to "Sniper" mode (press and hold to decrease DPI). I like it as an alternative to middle click. It rests on the tip of my thumb (not as comfortable under my thumb as the Corsair M65, but still in a good place). Pros: You don't have to accidentally click on it when you pick up the mouse to move it (I never had this problem with the M65). My Experience: This is probably my 5th or 6th unique Logitech mouse. I also had a Corsair mouse. My two favorites are probably the Corsair M65 Pro and the Logitech MX Master, which have a larger footprint. What I miss about this mouse are the buttons on the right side of the G900, the MX Master metal scroll wheel, the wider frame. MX Master and Corsair M65 Pro and the long battery life of the Marathon mouse (I chose not to buy the wireless version as battery life is measured in days not months). So far I'm very happy with the mouse.
