This was the worst sump cooler pump I have ever bought. I typically run a pump for two years or more, but this one hasn't even lasted a month after installation (actually probably only 10 days of use). We noticed an unpleasant burning smell today and quickly determined it was coming from the vents on our swamp cooler. I was sure the fan motor had stalled, but it was a cheap, useless pump. STAY AWAY
