Review on Indulge in the Luxurious Pre de Provence Riche Collection, Coconut Body Butter by Donna Jones

Washing my hands at work has left my hands incredibly dry to the point where regular lotion no longer touches them. Coconut oil alone is not absorbent enough to help significantly. My skin is starting to crack, so I need a good, heavyweight moisturizer to keep from breaching my all-important barrier. I bought this product because it contains many ingredients that are known to work for me. It moisturizes my skin well, despite all the shea butter in it (shea butter isn't good for me). It's quite greasy on the skin, which I wanted because it helps my skin stay hydrated. I wear cotton gloves so I don't leave greasy handprints everywhere. I'm very disappointed that this body butter doesn't smell like coconut because I love coconut. It doesn't smell at all; just a normal lotion smell. If you don't like perfumed lotion, coconut scent will do. The jar itself was not sealed; It only had a soft plastic insert inside. I don't know if most high-end cosmetics are packaged like this, but it made quite a mess. The jar was warm from the sun so I pressed what I thought was a vacuum seal lightly to see if any oils had separated. BIG MISTAKE. The soft plastic buckled inside the container, ejecting half of the contents. However, I can now confirm that this body butter is quite thermostable. Overall: A thick, creamy and oily product that moisturizes well. Please note that the glass is not sealed. Unfortunately it doesn't smell like coconut. :(
