This phone has good features and is very attractive. Here the good news ends. Problems: 1. The corded phone won't stay in the holder, which is too small to protect it from small bumps. There is no backup battery in the base station, which means the time and date will disappear when the device is turned off.3. There is no hold button. The mute button is a poor substitute for the hold button.4. There is no way to turn off the announcement when viewing calls. Is it really necessary to listen to your own recording every time you make a call?5. The wireless unit and base are thin and too light. The base is constantly tipping over, the pipe falls out. Do not drop this item on the ground.6. Worse, the cordless handset has terrible range. In our office it is "out of range" by 25 minutes, which is totally unacceptable.
